How to Delete Price Bands or Extras

After you have been using book that in for a while, you may find that you have price bands and extras for the showing up on your account that you no longer need. They may well be clogging up your view, and you just want to get rid of them.

Well, fortunately, it's very easy to delete Price Bands and Extras!

This video walks you through the process:

Step 1: Open Company Settings

  1. Go to the Business menu.

  2. Select Company Settings.

  3. On the right-hand side, click on the Price Bands tab.

Here, you will see two sections:

  • A list of all the price bands you’ve ever created.

  • A list of all the extras you’ve created.

Step 2: Delete a Price Band

  1. Locate the price band you want to remove.

  2. Click the delete icon next to it.

  3. Confirm by clicking Yes when asked if you’re sure.

Important Notes:

  • Deleting a price band also removes it from any classes or events where it is currently being used.

  • Customers will no longer be able to book using that price band.

  • Once deleted, the price band cannot be restored. If you need it again, you’ll have to create a new one.

Step 3: Delete an Extra

  1. Scroll down to the list of extras.

  2. Click the delete icon next to the extra you want to remove.

  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Important Notes:

  • Removing an extra deletes it from all classes and events where it is linked.

  • Customers will no longer see that extra as a booking option.

  • Like price bands, deleted extras cannot be restored, so you would need to create a new one if you want it again.

Deleting unused price bands and extras helps keep your admin area organised and makes it easier to manage active booking options. Just be careful, as deletions are permanent and affect live classes and events.
