How to switch your classes or events to run Online

If something happens (e.g. Lockdown), you may need to switch to running your classes virtually, online.

Fortunately, it's easy to do this on Book That In.

Follow the steps in this video to see how to do this:

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Group Overview

1. Log into your BookThatIn account.

2. Navigate to the Group Overview.

3. Find the group of classes you want to switch online.

   • The current location is shown at the top in green.

   • All classes or events listed inside that green box share the same location.

2. Edit a Class Location

1. Choose the class you want to switch.

2. Click Edit (at the top of the class header).

3. Look for the option Online?

   • By default, this is set to No.

4. Switch it to Yes.

5. Click Next, then Save.

The class location will now update to Online, and an online icon will appear next to the class name.

3. Repeat for Other Classes

• Repeat the same steps for each class you want to switch to online.

• Once updated, they will all display as being held online.

4. Switch Classes Back to In-Person

When you’re ready to return to your physical venue:

1. Go back to the class and click Edit.

2. Change the Online? setting back to No.

3. Select the physical address you want to use.

4. Click Save.

The class will now display with its physical location again.
