Introduction to Price Bands and Extras - Setting different ticket prices and options

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: From an Existing Class in Group Overview

  1. Log in to your BookThatIn account.

  2. Go to Business > Group Overview.

  3. Find the class you want to edit (for example, a music class).

  4. Click Options > Price Bands.

  5. From here, you can:

    • Create a new price band.

    • Link an existing price band.

This is the best option if you want to add price bands to an existing class or event.

Step 2: From Company Settings

  1. Go to Business > Company Settings.

  2. At the top of the page, look for the tabs in grey.

  3. Select the Price Bands tab (on the far right).

  4. From this area, you can:

    • Add new price bands.

    • Create extras (e.g., products or sibling tickets).

This is useful if you want to manage all of your price bands and extras in one place.

Step 3: While Creating a New Class or Event

  1. Go back to Group Overview.

  2. Click Create Group Event.

  3. Complete the setup screens until you reach the Pricing screen.

  4. Here, youโ€™ll see two options:

    • Automatic block calculation.

    • Price bands.

  5. Select Price Bands, and youโ€™ll see the familiar buttons to link or create a price band.

This method is ideal when you want to build pricing options as part of setting up a new class or event.

Conclusion

There are three ways to create or edit price bands in BookThatIn: from Group Overview (for existing classes), from Company Settings (to manage all price bands and extras centrally), and from the event creation wizard (when setting up new classes). Once created, price bands can be linked or edited as needed, giving you flexibility in how you offer booking options.
