Knowing what cash you have coming into your business is a crucial part of success.


Book That In makes it easy for you to get a quick snapshot view of your monthly revenue from your Income Report.


Please note - the Income Report is a summary of your total revenue and number of bookings per month. If you need to see details of exactly what money is going to be deposited into your bank account, you can see this from the 'Payouts' section of your Stripe account.


You can access your Income Report from the Company Settings on your Book That In account.


This video shows you how to access your Income Report and what it tells you:




1: Accessing Company Settings

  1. Begin by logging in to your "Book That In" account with your credentials.
  2. From the homepage, navigate to the "Company Settings" section.
  3. You can find this by either going to "Business" > "Company Settings" or clicking on the dedicated link on your homepage (head over com to company settings).
    1. 2: Generating the Income Report  
      1. In the "Company Settings" page, locate the button labelled "Income Report" on the right-hand side, and click on the button to generate your income report. 
  1. 3: Understanding the Default Report 

  2. The income report will initially display figures for the current month, including:

  • Your company name
  • Total revenue for the month
  • Refunds processed
  • Total revenue (after refunds)
  • Total number of new bookings for the month

4: Changing the Reporting Month

 

  1. To view figures for a different month, click on the desired month from the available options.
  2. Click the "Update" button to refresh the income report with the selected month's data.


5: Viewing All-Time Figures 

  1. For an overview of your cumulative earnings since starting with "Book That In," choose the "Show All Time" option.


6: Multi-Company Management

  1. If you manage multiple companies or are a franchisee, select the relevant company from the dropdown menu.
  2. Click "Update" to display income details for the chosen company.


7: Franchisee Fee Reporting 

If you are a franchisee, the income report will also show the fees you're paying to the franchisor (if using the internal fee collection system).

  1. The report will include:
    1. Fee amount paid to the franchisor
    2. Total fees for the month (including booking fees)
    3. Total fees after refunds
