Step By Step Instructions

Step 1: Log In and Navigate to Your Group Overview

  • Begin by logging into your Book That In account.
  • Proceed to your "Group Overview" where all your classes or events are listed.

Step 2: Edit Your Class or Event Type

  • Find the specific class, event, or subscription you wish to edit. For the purpose of this tutorial, we're using a craft class for gift bags as an example.
  • Click on the pencil icon next to the class or event name to open its settings, then look for the field for the description.

Step 3: Accessing the Code Box

  • Inside the description editor, locate and click on the icon featuring two arrows. This action will open up the code box, enabling you to edit the HTML code of your description.

Step 4: Inserting the Image Code

  • You will need to insert specific HTML code to add an image. This code is:
    <p><img style="float: left; padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;" src="IMAGEURL" width="250"/></p>

  • Copy and paste the provided code into the text, where you wish the image to appear. This snippet of code instructs the system to add an image that will float to the left of the text, with a set width and padding to create space around the image.

Step 5: Customising the Image Properties

  • Within the code, you can adjust several properties:
    • Float Direction: Change "left" to "right" if you prefer the image to align on the right side.
    • Padding: Adjust the whitespace around the image. The default is 10 pixels, but this can be increased for more space.
    • Width: Set the image's width. A maximum of 340 pixels is recommended to ensure mobile compatibility.

Step 6: Adding Your Image URL

  • Ensure your image is hosted online, either on your website or another platform that allows image hosting.
  • Search for your desired image or upload one to your website. Right-click the image and select "Copy image address" to get the URL.
  • Replace "IMAGEURL" in the HTML code with your image's URL.

Step 7: Preview and Save

  • After inserting the image URL, click OK to close the code box. The image should now appear in your description.
  • If necessary, adjust the image's size directly by highlighting the image and dragging the corners of the image within the description editor.
  • Once satisfied with the placement and size of the image, proceed to save your changes.

Step 8: Refresh Your Booking Page

  • Finally, refresh your booking page to view the updated description with the newly added image.
