Price Bands allow you amazing flexibility when setting up your booking options for your events and classes.

You can use Price Bands so you can offer your customers the option to book a block of classes.

You can offer a discount for block bookings, and in this way they can used to incentivise your customers to book more sessions at once. Some people refer to these as a 'Class Pass'.

With block bookings, which we call 'Fixed Number of Sessions' Price Bands, you set a fixed price for your customer to pay when they book a certain number of sessions.

You can then offer the block in two ways:

1. Consecutive Dates

This means your customer's booking started from the next date in the series, and the block booked will be all consecutive dates after that.

2. Pick and Choose Dates

This means you customer and choose whichever dates they wish from the available sessions that still have capacity.

This video shows you how to set up Price Bands for block bookings:

Step 1: Open Group Overview

  1. Log in to BookThatIn.

  2. Go to Business > Group Overview.

  3. Find your class (e.g. Music Class).

Step 2: Access Price Bands

  1. Next to your class, click Options > Price Bands.

  2. You’ll see your existing price bands (e.g. Full Block, Single Session).

Step 3: Create a Multi-Session Price Band

  1. Click Create Price Band.

  2. Give it a clear name, e.g. Two Sessions.

  3. Fill in the details:

    • Fixed Number of Sessions: Select this option.

    • Number of Sessions: Enter the number (e.g. 2).

    • Consecutive Dates or Pick and Choose:

      • Consecutive Dates: The customer is automatically booked into the next available sessions. Useful for trial packages.

      • Pick and Choose Dates: The customer can select any sessions from the block. Ideal for flexible bookings.

    • Number of Attendees: 1 (unless you want the ticket to cover multiple people).

    • Total Cost: Enter a suitable price. For example, £28 for 2 sessions (cheaper than booking 2 singles, but more than the block per-session rate).

  4. Click Create.

Step 4: Add More Multi-Session Options

Repeat the process to create additional options:

  • Three Sessions – set sessions to 3, cost e.g. £40.

  • Four Sessions – adjust pricing accordingly.

Each option gives customers more flexibility while still encouraging block bookings.

Step 5: Test the Booking Page

  1. Go to your public booking page.

  2. Click Book on the class.

  3. You should now see options like:

    • Single Session

    • Two Sessions

    • Three Sessions

    • Full Block

When a customer selects, for example, Three Sessions, they can pick exactly three dates from the block. The system won’t allow them to select fewer or more than the set number.

Step 6: Automatic Removal of Options

BookThatIn automatically hides multi-session options if there aren’t enough sessions left in the block.

  • Example: If only 2 classes remain, the Three Sessions option won’t be shown.

Conclusion

By creating multi-session price bands, you give customers more flexible booking options, while still maintaining control over pricing and capacity. This is useful if you want to balance flexibility with incentives for full-block bookings.
