The default setting for Book That In allows your customers to book a single place on your class, course or event.
But what if you want to give your customers the option to book in more than one person at a time?
Fortunately, that is easy with Introduction to Price Bands and Extras - Setting different ticket prices and options
In the following video, Tim shows you the two main options for setting up multi-person tickets:
Creating different Price Bands for the different ticket booking options
Setting a 'base' Price Band and using Extras to let your customers add extra people to their booking.
This video walks you through how to create both these options and explains the pros and cons of both:

Instructions
Option 1: Create the Base Ticket
Go to Business > Group Overview.
Find your event (e.g., a “Fun Day”).
Click Options > Price Bands.
Create a new price band for a single ticket:
Sessions: 1 (for a one-off event).
Attendees: 1.
Price: £10.
Save the price band.
Now your customers can book one ticket for £10.
Option 2: Add Options for Multiple Tickets
To let people book more than one ticket in a single go, create additional price bands. For example:
Two Tickets
Sessions: 1.
Attendees: 2.
Price: £20 (or add a discount if you prefer).
Family Ticket (e.g., 2 adults and 2 children)
Sessions: 1.
Attendees: 4.
Price: £30.
When customers book, they’ll see multiple ticket options (e.g., “1 Ticket”, “2 Tickets”, “Family Ticket”). The system will then ask them to provide details for the correct number of attendees.
Option 3: Use Extras for Flexible Ticket Numbers
If you don’t want to create a separate price band for every possible ticket quantity, you can use extras:
Keep your base ticket as 1 Ticket (£10).
Create an extra called “Additional Ticket”:
Sessions: 1.
Attendees: 1.
Price: £8 (discounted from the full £10 if desired).
Link this extra to your event.
Now customers can book one ticket and then add as many extras as they need. For example:
Base ticket: £10.
Three extras: £8 each.
Total: £34 for four participants.
Option 4: Create Different Types of Extras (Optional)
You can also offer different extras for different groups, such as:
Extra Adult – £8.
Extra Child – £5.
Customers book the base ticket, then choose whether to add more adults, children, or both. The system automatically calculates the total and collects participant details for each attendee.
Conclusion
Using price bands and extras, you can let customers book multiple tickets in one go. This not only saves them time but also makes it easier for you to offer discounts (such as family tickets or group bookings) and to collect all attendee details in a single booking.
