How to set up a Holiday Camp with 'Pick and Choose Date' Price Bands

Holiday Camps can require a lot of flexibility when it comes to booking options.

People might want to book a full week, or odd days here and there. They may need to book in multiple children.

It's possible to meet all these requirements by using How to create the option to book multiple sessions with Price Bands

The video below shows you how you can set up a holiday club with different booking options that allows your customers to book any combination of days.

The booking options covered in this video include:

  1. An 'All Sessions' option How to create a Price Band for a full block or term using the auto calculator
    This changes cost automatically, depending on how many sessions are left in the block

    This allows the customer to book a single day, and pick their day from all those available and not full

  3. A multi-session option How to create the option to book multiple sessions with Price Bands
    This allows the customer to book more than 1 day at a time, and for you to factor in a discount to incentivise them to book more sessions.

Step 1: Set Up the Holiday Club Block

  1. Go to Business > Group Overview.

  2. Create your event block for the holiday club (e.g. 8th–12th August, one week).

  3. Add your daily sessions to the block.

You now have the base event ready to attach price bands.

Step 2: Create the Full Block Option (Auto Calculator)

  1. In Group Overview, click Options > Price Bands next to your holiday club.

  2. Select Create Price Band.

  3. Enter a name (e.g. Full Block Holiday Camp).

  4. Add a description (e.g. Books your child into all remaining days of the camp).

  5. Choose Auto Calculator as the type.

  6. Set the number of attendees (usually 1 child).

  7. Enter the cost per session (e.g. £40 per day).

  8. Click Create.

The system will automatically calculate the total cost depending on how many days are left in the block (e.g. 5 days = £200, 4 days = £160).

Step 3: Add Extras for the Full Block

You can give parents the option to add extras, such as siblings or products.

  • To add an extra:

    1. Go to the Extras tab.

    2. Click Create New Extra.

    3. Name it (e.g. Sibling – Full Block).

    4. Choose Auto Calculator to match the price band.

    5. Set the cost per session (e.g. £35 per day).

    6. Click Link.

Now, when a parent books the full block, they can add siblings at a discounted rate.

Step 4: Create Single-Day and Multi-Day Options (Pick and Choose)

  1. From the Price Bands screen, click Create Price Band.

  2. Name it (e.g. Single Day Holiday Camp).

  3. Choose Fixed Number of Sessions and set the number of sessions (e.g. 1).

  4. Select Pick and Choose Dates so parents can choose any day from the block.

  5. Set the price (e.g. £50).

  6. Click Create.

Multi-Day Options

Repeat the steps above but set the sessions to 2, 3, or 4. Example:

  • 2 Days = £95 (discounted from £100).

  • 3 Days = £140.

  • 4 Days = £185.

This lets parents select any combination of days.

Step 5: Add Sibling Discounts to Pick-and-Choose Options

  1. Create a sibling extra with Pick and Choose Dates.

  2. Set the cost per session (e.g. £45).

  3. Link the extra to all pick-and-choose price bands (1 day, 2 days, etc.).

The system automatically multiplies the sibling cost by the number of sessions chosen.

Step 6: Duplicate for Multiple Weeks

If you run multiple weeks of holiday clubs:

  1. Go to Group Overview.

  2. Select Add Block and copy from the previous week.

  3. Adjust the dates (e.g. Week 2: 15th–19th August).

  4. The linked price bands and extras will carry across.

Parents can now book Week 1, Week 2, or both with the same options.

Final Booking Experience

When parents go to book, they will see:

  • Full Block Option (auto-calculated by sessions left).

  • Single-Day Option (£50 per day).

  • 2, 3, or 4-Day Options (discounted rates).

  • Extras such as siblings or merchandise (mugs, T-shirts, etc.).

The system automatically enforces session limits (e.g. if only 2 days remain, the 3-day option disappears).
