Connecting Stripe as a Tots Play Franchisee

Welcome to Book That In. This tutorial is the first step in getting your Tots Play account ready to take bookings and payments.

Your Book That In account has already been created for you. If you previously had a Toddle About listing, you already have a Book That In account, as Book That In powers Toddle About. You can log in using the same details, or reset your password if needed.

This tutorial focuses on connecting Stripe, which is essential for taking payments. If Stripe is not connected, customers will still be able to book, but no payments will be collected. Completing this step ensures your booking links are fully functional and ready to use.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in to Book That In

  1. Go to bookthatin.com.

  2. Log in using your Book That In details.

    • If you previously used Toddle About, you can use the same login.

    • If you have forgotten your password, use the password reset option.

Step 2: Open Company Settings

  1. Once logged in, go to the homepage.

  2. Use either method:

    • Click the Company Settings shortcut on the homepage, or

    • Open the Business menu and select Company Settings.

Step 3: Open Payment Provider Settings

  1. Inside Company Settings, locate Payment Provider.

  2. You will see a section labelled Open and accept payments.

  3. On the right hand side, find the toggle currently set to No.

Step 4: Enable Payments

  1. Click the toggle so it switches from No to Yes.

  2. A button labelled Connect with Stripe will appear.

  3. Click Connect with Stripe.

Step 5: Log in to Stripe

  1. You will be redirected to Stripe.

  2. If you are already logged in to Stripe:

    • You will see a list of Stripe accounts you can connect.

  3. If you are not logged in:

    • Enter your email address.

    • Log in if you already have a Stripe account.

    • If you do not have an account, follow the on screen steps to create one.

      • You will need your business bank account details.

      • You will also need proof of identity.

Step 6: Connect Your Stripe Account

  1. Select the correct Stripe account.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. You should see a confirmation screen showing the connection was successful.

Step 7: Return to Book That In

  1. Click return to Companies.

  2. You will now be taken back to the Companies area.

  3. Stripe is now successfully linked to your Book That In account.

Step 8: You Are Ready for the Next Step

  • Payments are now enabled.

  • Your account is ready to move on to the next stage of setup.
