Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

  1. Visit bookthatin.com.

  2. Click Log In in the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. Enter your login details and sign in.

Step 2: Open Account Settings

  1. Once logged in, you'll arrive at the home screen.

  2. Select Account Settings from the available shortcuts.

Step 3: View Your Subscriptions

  1. In the Account Settings menu, click Your Subscriptions.

  2. A list of your active subscriptions will be displayed.

Step 4: Review Subscription Options

Within the subscription details, you can:

  • Update your payment card if you need to change your card details.

  • Cancel your subscription using the cancellation option at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Check for Any Minimum Subscription Period

Before cancelling, be aware that:

  • If the Cancel button is missing or disabled, your subscription is still within its minimum subscription period.

  • You will not be able to cancel until this minimum period has ended.

  • Any minimum term should have been clearly stated when you originally signed up.

Step 6: Start the Cancellation Process

  1. Click Cancel.

  2. A confirmation screen will display important information, including:

    • Any notice period that applies.

    • The date your subscription will end.

    • Details of your final payment.

Step 7: Understand Final Payments

If your subscription has a notice period:

  • Your subscription remains active until the notice period ends.

  • Your final payment may be prorated, meaning you only pay for the remaining time required by the notice period rather than a full billing cycle.

For example:

  • If you cancel on 10 June and there is a one-month notice period, your subscription will end on 10 July.

  • If your usual payment date is 1 July, your final payment will be taken then, but only for the amount needed to cover the period up to 10 July.

Step 8: Provide a Cancellation Reason

  1. Enter a reason for cancelling when prompted.

  2. Click Yes to confirm the cancellation.

Step 9: Confirm the Cancellation

  1. Wait for the system to process your request.

  2. A confirmation message will appear.

  3. Your subscription will no longer show if it has been cancelled immediately. It will show a status such as Cancelling on [date], confirming the cancellation has been scheduled.

Completion

Your subscription cancellation is now complete. You can return to the Your Subscriptions page at any time to view the scheduled cancellation date and the status of your subscription.
