Sometimes you will want to hide a class or event so it can't be seen on your website or branded booking widget.
This can be particularly useful for giving your existing customers priority booking options on a new term or event before opening it up to the public.
Or perhaps you have set up a private event, or an event is far in the future and you want to encourage your customers to book an event that is closer.
Whatever the reason, it's really easy to do.
Note: When you 'Hide from Widget', the event will still be bookable on the Book That In website. If you want to make it so no one can book, but you don't want to archive the event, then you should How to Cancel a Class or Event.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Go to the Group Overview
Log in to your BookThatIn account.
Open the Group Overview to see your list of classes and events.
2. Hide a Class or Event
Locate the class you want to hide (e.g. Thursday 10–11).
On the right-hand side, click Actions.
From the dropdown menu, select Hide from Widget.
An icon of an eye with a line through it will appear next to the class.
This means the class is now hidden from your public booking page (the widget).
3. Show a Class Again
When you’re ready to make the class visible again, go back to the Actions menu.
Select Show on Widget.
The eye-with-line icon will disappear, and the class will once again be visible on your booking widget.
4. Important Note
Hiding a class only removes it from your widget (the booking page you embed on your site).
It will still appear on the BookThatIn website if customers have a direct link to it.
Conclusion
With BookThatIn, you can easily control which classes appear on your booking widget. Use the hide and show functions to manage your offerings without permanently removing them.
